My Ministry Statement

I believe God has called me to a relationship with Him. In all I do my first ministry it to the Father, whom I owe everything, I seek first to be a man of prayer. Out of my relationship with God I seek to be humble, full of integrity, and full of God given wisdom. I pray that I am able to reflect the Kingdom of God in all that I say and do. i believe God has called me to the next generation and to building leaders to go out and help more people find and follow Jesus.

Throughout my short time in ministry and time throughout these courses and this degree, only one thing has been at the centerpiece, and that is personal proximity to the God of all creation. There are so many amazing pastors out there who preach like crazy but lose their soul because they forget their first love. So many worship leaders out there who forget who they are worshiping, and so many men who call themselves men of God but have forgotten what that even means. What has become most aware to me is that people can lose their way, easily. It is too easy to forget the why behind the reasons we serve day in and day out. I pray that my relationship with God never becomes second to anything or anyone, and I will have people in my life who will push me back on track if I ever drift.

In all of this I believe that God has equipped me to be a leader of leaders, someone who helps men and women dig deep inside of themselves to become the best version of themselves they can to experience real connection with God and pour into those they have influence over.

Because God has called me to lead His people, the words of this statement must be true of me. I have to stay deeply connected to other Christian men who I can maintain vulnerability, transparency, and remove any inklings of a secret life. I must maintain a deep, devoted, consistent prayer life to keep me humble and constantly reminded of my great need for God.
